Intro
Context The Hierro v8 marks the next evolution of New Balance’s trail running franchise — built for endurance, protection, and performance in demanding terrain. Shot in Chamonix, a landmark destination for professional trail runners, the campaign grounds the product in an authentic alpine environment while showcasing the broader outdoor apparel range. Design & Art Direction The visual direction centers on real terrain, natural light, and functional movement, reinforcing the shoe’s purpose-built performance. Casting focuses on experienced trail runners, while styling and pacing highlight the relationship between body, product, and landscape. Wide alpine views are balanced with close, tactile details to emphasize durability, construction, and materiality — positioning the Hierro v8 as both a technical tool and a trusted companion in the mountains.
